Rev. Will Sweeney

Will Sweeney photo

My name is Will, I am married to Minnie, and we have a daughter called Natasha. I grew up in Tavistock and have lived there for most of my life. I felt a calling to become a Priest aged 11. I spent time working as a care home assistant, a learning support assistant and a barman before spending four years at St John’s College, Nottingham training for Parish Ministry. I served my first post as Assistant Curate in Exeter before coming to serve the community of Plympton. I am a part time Police Chaplain to the Victim Care Unit in Exeter and I am in the early stages of selection to become a Royal Navy Reserve Chaplain. I love to travel with my wife and daughter and to go on walks with my Labrador Louis.

Rev. David Jasper

David Jasper photoFather David is a retired parish priest whose ministry has taken him from tin mining parishes via inner city ministry (and a time in homelessness policy for the Government) to leafy Somerset and finally back to Cornwall. His interests are Christian spirituality; the performative nature of some obscure (French/Latin/English) medieval texts; liturgy, and people. He and Anne have many children and even more grandchildren of whom they are inordinately fond.
